Wacky Wednesday: Permanent Marker

If you have kids and hardwood floors, you've probably run across the problem found in today's Wacky Wednesday tip: Removing Permanent Marker from Hardwood Floors. 

The solution is far easier than you'd imagine. 

1. Put a dab of toothpaste on the marker
2. Rub like crazy with a damp washcloth

Done!

Wacky Wednesday Tip - Shower heads

Take a long look at your shower head. Does water still come out all the holes? Does it look clean and attractive? If not, it's definitely time to spruce it up!

1. Pour distilled white vinegar into a plastic bag
2. Secure the bag around the shower head using a rubber band
3. Let sit 1 hour
4. Wipe clean with a wet cloth

That's it! You can even dip a sponge in the left over vinegar and use it to shine up the other fixtures in the bathroom.

Wacky Wednesday - Window Washing

Do you always have streaks on your windows or mirrors after you clean them? Then this tip is for you!

Spray your window/mirror with your chosen mirror and wipe it down with a rag, just as you always would. Once the window/mirror has been washed, ball up a page out of a newspaper and buff the streaks right off the surface using the paper.

Newspaper works best for this. Magazine paper doesn't do the trick, though printer paper will work in a pinch.
