Wacky Wednesday - Disposal Cleaner

Do you use oranges or lemons in your kitchen? Well, don't throw away those peels! They are an essential part of the below instructions for cleaning your garbage disposal.

GARBAGE DISPOSAL CLEANING
This is a method to clean your garbage disposer
  1. You need some type of small container to freeze some ice in. An old ice cube tray will do just fine, but be sure you mark it so no one uses the ice in a drink.
  2. Mix 8 parts water to 1 part white vinegar and put in the container.
  3. Drop in a piece of orange peel or lemon peel and freeze the mixture.
  4. Once frozen put them in the garbage disposer and turn it on and let it run until all the ice is gone.
And there you have it, a nice clean and fresh smelling disposer. The vinegar cleaned it and the peel supplied the scent
